Laplink Everywhere Becomes a Best-Seller in Less Than 30 Days


Sep 27, 2005 - In less than 30 days, Laplink Everywhere 4 has become the best-selling browser-based remote access software available from U.S. retailers.

Laplink Software announced today that the retail version of Laplink Everywhere 4, released in late August, has become the best-selling browser-based remote access solution in U.S. retail. Laplink Everywhere 4 is available in stores such as CompUSA, Fry"s, and Micro Center as well as from online retailers like Amazon, Buy.com, CDW, Computers4SURE, Newegg, Staples, and Target.

"The initial response to Laplink Everywhere 4 has been phenomenal," said Todd Rupley, Laplink Software SVP of Retail and Online Sales. "Response to the product from retail consumers has been very strong, proving this is a very positive move for our company and our channel partners."

Building on the success of Laplink Everywhere 4 in the U.S., Laplink announced plans to enter the UK retail market in the next few months and expand into the rest of Europe by January 2006. German, Italian, Spanish and French versions of Laplink Everywhere are already available to purchase direct from the Laplink web site.

Laplink Everywhere 4 has attracted retail customers because it"s easy to use and supports the broadest range of access platforms, including Windows, Linux, or Mac-based computers and Pocket PC, Palm, and Symbian-based handheld devices. Laplink Everywhere 4 is also the only remote access product that"s fully compatible with Microsoft"s latest handheld operating system, Windows Mobile 5.
